We provide the following services:
All services are subject to availability and may be subject to additional terms agreed at the time of booking.
All quotations are based on the information you provide at the time of the quote. Where possible, we conduct a free video survey to assess the volume and nature of goods to be moved before providing a written fixed-price quote.
A quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to revise a quotation if the inventory changes materially after the quote is issued.
Once a written fixed-price quote has been accepted and a deposit paid, the price will not change unless you make changes to the agreed scope of work (e.g. add significantly more items, change the destination, or require additional services).
Your booking is confirmed upon receipt of your deposit (see Section 4). Until the deposit is received, your date is not reserved.
A deposit is required to secure your move date. The deposit amount will be stated on your written quotation. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation (see Section 5).
The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your move, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer. We do not accept cash for balances over £500.
We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
If you cancel your booking:
We will endeavour to accommodate rescheduling requests at no charge if notice is given more than 7 days before the move date and the new date is available. Rescheduling with less than 7 days' notice may incur an administration fee.
In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking (e.g. due to vehicle breakdown or severe weather), we will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative date or a full refund of any amounts paid.
For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport the following:
We reserve the right to refuse to handle or transport any item we reasonably believe poses a risk to our staff, vehicle, or other goods. No refund will be given for items refused on these grounds.
We carry Goods in Transit insurance and Public Liability insurance. Details of our coverage are available on request.
We take all reasonable care when handling your possessions. However, we strongly recommend that you ensure your own contents insurance covers goods in transit, as our liability may be limited (see Section 8).
We accept no liability for:
Any claims for loss or damage must be made in writing within 7 days of delivery. Claims received after this period may not be considered unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Our maximum liability for any single item is limited to £100 or the current market replacement value, whichever is lower, unless enhanced coverage has been agreed in writing before the move.
Storage contracts are charged monthly in advance. The minimum storage period is one calendar month. Storage fees are stated in your written quotation and storage agreement.
Access to stored goods is by appointment during normal business hours. We do not provide 24/7 self-access to our managed storage facility.
You must give at least 14 days' written notice to end a storage contract. No refund will be given for unused days within the notice period if storage has been pre-paid.
Stored goods are covered by our Goods in Storage insurance. However, we recommend you maintain your own contents insurance for items of high value. We accept no liability for items that deteriorate due to their own inherent nature (e.g. mould on items stored damp, moth damage on untreated fabrics).
We are committed to providing an excellent service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible:
We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 business days. If we cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme — details available on request.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK legislation.
