Why Professional Packing
Most breakages during a move don't happen on the van. They happen because boxes were overfilled, items weren't padded, or fragile things were stacked wrong. Our crew pack hundreds of homes a year. They know exactly which box each item belongs in, how to layer padding, and which things need special treatment.
When we pack it, it's also covered by our insurance in a way that customer-packed boxes often aren't. That's a meaningful difference if something goes wrong.

From a full kitchen to a single antique cabinet — we bring the right materials and the right method for everything you own.
Plates packed on their sides (never flat), glasses individually wrapped and cell-boxed, pots nested with padding. Kitchen packing is time-consuming done right — we've done it hundreds of times.
Flat art wrapped in acid-free tissue and corner-protected. Mirrors boxed with foam inserts or wrapped in transit blankets. Large pieces assessed individually — we discuss bespoke crating where needed.
TVs in purpose-built boxes with foam inserts. Computers wrapped and protected against static. Cables labelled and packed together. We treat electronics with the same care as fragile china.
High-value or irreplaceable items get individual assessment. Layered bubble wrap, rigid outer boxes, and clear labelling. We'll talk through each piece with you before packing day so nothing is a surprise.
Hanging garments go into wardrobe boxes so suits, dresses, and coats arrive crease-free. Folded clothing packed neatly in appropriate boxes — not thrown loose into bags where they arrive creased and musty.
Books are heavy and damage easily when packed wrong. We use small, strong boxes — packed flat and not overfilled. Important documents kept together and clearly identified so you know exactly where they are.

Packing is priced alongside your removal — it depends on the size of your home, the number of specialist items, and the tier you choose. We give you a fixed all-in price after the video survey so there are no surprises. Call us for a rough estimate before booking the survey.
We prefer it, especially for the first hour, so we can ask about anything we're uncertain about. After that most people step out and let us get on with it. You'll need to be back before we finish to sign off on everything.
Yes — and it's something we recommend for full packing jobs. It keeps moving day focused entirely on loading and transit, which means everything moves faster and you're less stressed. We just need access to the property and your confirmation of what's in scope.
That's completely fine — it's what the Partial Pack tier is designed for. A common split is: we handle the kitchen, fragile items, and any specialist things, and you do the bedrooms and books. Just tell us at the survey stage and we'll scope the quote accordingly.
Unpacking at the destination can be added to your quote. We'll place boxes in the right rooms and can unpack and arrange contents on request — particularly useful for kitchens and fragile items. Ask about this when you book your survey.
